PROTOGYM is a personal fitness software program that approaches exercise in an entirely different and revolutionary new way. Rather than providing “cookie cutter” workouts with no thought behind them, PROTOGYM has in-depth data behind each exercise to provide exciting and challenging workouts that will never leave you bored. Some of the features included are:

- Assessment algorithm to measure and track your skill level for optimal workouts

How does it work?
PROTOGYM measures and executes exercise differently than other fitness methodology. Every exercise is broken down into its individual components and calculated in a scientific formula that is derived from physics. By relying on math and physics, PROTOGYM can calculate the exact amount of work you are performing and accurately track your progress. This is a different approach than traditional fitness programs which rely on heart rate measurements and calorie charts to guess your progress. Without an accurate picture of your progress, these programs can only add more weight or reps to an exercise in order to make your workouts harder. PROTOGYM, on the other hand, understands how much work you truly have performed, regardless of weight or reps or any other factor. This unique ability allows for intelligently designed workouts which are always different and organically increase in difficulty over time.
How are exercises measured?
PROTOGYM calculates exercise using these and other factors:
- The distances you are moving weights, your body, or individual parts of your body – no matter what direction
- The time that each of these individual or combined movements require
- Your overall body position (sitting, standing, etc.) and stability (one leg, one arm, etc.) are factors
- The amount of total work you are performing in a unit of time – the more work in less time, the more intense your workout

Using math and physics, PROTOGYM is able to calculate the relationship exercises have to each other in difficulty when all input factors are considered. This means PROTOGYM can create a diverse workout that seems unique and unrelated to any other while making sure it is still challenging and moving you further up the fitness ladder.
