Workouts creation and management is the heart of any fitness software. PROTOGYM takes this to this concept to the next level with workout technology beyond current fitness systems. PROTOGYM allows you to pick the exact details of every specific exercise, have a whole workout generated automatically, or a mix of the two.
Automatic Workouts
PROTOGYM provides you with 100% fully automated workouts that are tailored to your specific goals, equipment, and ability level. By specifying your desired workout length and difficulty, you can have a workout designed for you in just one click. Additionally, you can tweak your automatic workout to focus on particular body parts or exercise styles. When creating an automatic workout, PROTOGYM uses an advanced algorithm to ensure variety and constantly expose you to new exercises to keep your workouts fresh and exciting. As you continue exercising, the algorithm monitors your progress and appropriately progresses you in challenge and difficulty as your fitness abilities grow.
Manual Workouts
If you like to fine-tune your workout, PROTOGYM allows full manual control of your workout. You can build a workout one exercise at a time or edit any automatic workout you create. The manual workout builder allows you pick the exact exercise you wish, specify the equipment to use, and control all the inputs such as reps, sets, and load. For the exercise aficionado, PROTOGYM offers a level of exercise customization you won’t find anywhere else.
Equipment-based Workouts
As you’ll see by the Virtual Gym, you specify to PROTOGYM the equipment available in your inventory. Armed with this knowledge, PROTOGYM will only offer exercises involving equipment you have. If you are exercising at home with no equipment, only exercises that require zero equipment will be presented to you. If you exercise at a fully equipped gym, you will be afforded a plethora of diverse exercises to choose from. By knowing your exact equipment and their weights, heights, and quantities, PROTOGYM provides custom-tailored workouts beyond what other fitness systems can provide.
Equipment Variety in Workouts
When creating workouts, PROTOGYM keeps track of the equipment you’ve used. If you generate an automatic workout, the system will use this information to ensure you continue to use varied equipment configurations. This allows you to use all your equipment over time to keep your workouts fresh and interesting. Furthermore, if you get more equipment one day, PROTOGYM will be aware of the newer items and configure your workouts utilize the new equipment first.
Ability-based Workouts
When allowing PROTOGYM to generate automatic workouts for you, it will never offer an exercise "too hard" for you – unless you want! When you perform your fitness assessments, PROTOGYM can calculate an approximate level of your abilities. Every exercise in PROTOGYM has rules and baseline data corresponding to various ability levels. If an exercise is too easy or difficult for your current level, it will not appear in automatically generated workouts. Additionally, PROTOGYM will start you at the appropriate weight or height for certain exercises depending on your ability level. No other software is this aware of your needs.
Detailed Workout Printouts
PROTOGYM allows you to export your workout in so that you may print/save/email it and have a printout to bring to the gym. The workout printouts can be tailored to your liking - simple, detailed, or complete. Each option gives you increasing levels of detail about your exercise so you can be sure to have as much or as little information you need on your printout report.
